Cindy, RDH Dental Hygienist
Cindy had developed an interest in dentistry as early as high school, when, at the the suggestion of her guidance counselor, she decided to do shadowing at a local dental office. She quickly developed an affinity for dentistry since she enjoyed science subjects in school and loved working with her hands.
After this positive experience at the dental office she decided to apply early decision to an accelerated dental hygiene program. After completing the program she went on to work as a dental assistant for a year, before choosing to go to college.
Since graduation Cindy has attained decades of experience in dentistry. Over the years she’s had the pleasure of developing close ties with patients and watching the improvement in their oral health. One of her greatest joys as a dental hygienist is giving patients the tools they need to improve their oral health and watching their health improve.
Cindy immerses herself in dentistry outside the office as well, following the latest releases in dental research, especially pertaining to periodontal dentistry.
